Social Media Profile Setup
When completing the “about me” or “describe you business” sections in a social media site, be sure to use all the available space they provide. If they allow you 500 characters use all 500 character spaces.
The reason for this is that the info you enter is placed in searchable boxes. These boxes are indexed within the social media site as well as by search engines. Even if the site setting are set to not post to the search engines, use all the available space anyway.
SEO Tip – Even if you have a company website you need to have your company on LinkedIn. Why, because LinkedIn is very robust in its SEO layout. All the “about me” boxes and tag areas build a great SEO profile. And of course have your LinkedIn company profile link back to your company website and vice versa.
